The IBM Certified Specialist - Rhapsody for Systems V8 is proficient at using Rhapsody Systems Designer to analyze, design, build and test systems engineering models. These systems are prevalent in many domains including but not limited to Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Transportation, Telecom, Consumer Electronics and Medical.
The IBM Certified Specialist - Rhapsody for Systems V8 is able to:
◉ Identify the importance of, benefits and basics of model based systems engineering (MBSE)
◉ Understand the concepts in the systems modeling language (SysML 1.3)
◉ Use the SysML to create a systems model in Rational Rhapsody
◉ Understand the importance of traceability of models to requirements
◉ Implement traceability to elements using OSLC (Open services for lifecycle collaboration)
◉ Validate systems models through execution (simulation)
The Certified Specialist can teach standard Rhapsody for systems classes - building generic systems models given a set of requirements. The Certified Specialist is able to confidently answer questions on the wider Rhapsody tooling landscape and is aware of process and methodology involved in leading workshops.
It is expected that this Certified Specialist will be generally self-sufficient and able to perform the tasks involved in the role with limited assistance from peers, product documentation and vendor support services.
